132.相信小老弟
"Hey, Mikey, I got just the job for you. You keep an eye out for mom, okay?
"嗨，米基，我有你要的東西。你留心一下媽媽，好嗎？
I'm keen on this girl who's coming over! I don't want mom to know just yet, so keep it a secret, okay?"
我很喜歡馬上要來(lái)的這個(gè)女孩！但我現(xiàn)在還不想讓媽媽知道，所以替我保守秘密，行嗎？"
"Sure，Billy. Can I have some junk food?" Mikey said. He was just 6 years old.
"沒(méi)問(wèn)題，比利，我能吃點(diǎn)垃圾食品嗎？"米基說(shuō)。他剛六歲。
Billy wasn't sure he would be able to keep it quiet, but it was worth a try.
比利不敢肯定他是否能夠保守秘密，但試一下還是可以的。
"Sure. I was just about to give you one anyhow!"
"好的。我正準(zhǔn)備給你東西吃呢！"
Then the doorbell rang and it was the girl.
就在這時(shí)，門鈴響了，是那個(gè)女孩。
"Just a minute!" He yelled and then went to open the door.
"等一下！"他喊道，然后就去開門。
He let the girl in and they started to head towards his room.
他把女孩讓進(jìn)來(lái)，倆人開始向他的房間走去。
Just as they were going upstairs together Mikey came out and said, "Hey, Billy. Who is that?"
就在他倆一起上樓梯的時(shí)候，米基出來(lái)問(wèn)道"嗨，比利，是誰(shuí)呀？"
"This is my friend, Mikey, remember? You keep an eye on the driveway, okay? If mom comes back you just yell!"
"是我的朋友，米基，還記得嗎？你留意一下馬路那邊，行嗎？如果媽媽回來(lái)，你就喊一下！"
"Can I come up, too?" Mikey asked.
"我也能上來(lái)嗎？"米基問(wèn)。
"Not just now!" Billy said. Just my luck, he thought, he wants to play!
"現(xiàn)在還不行！"比利說(shuō)。我的運(yùn)氣總是這么差，他想，他想玩兒！
"You keep up eating your junk food and we'll be back in a half hour!"
"你繼續(xù)吃你的垃圾食品，我們過(guò)半個(gè)小時(shí)就回來(lái)！"
Fifteen minutes later Mom's car drove up. Mikey yelled and Billy heard him.
15分鐘之后，媽媽開車回來(lái)了。米基叫了一聲，比利聽到了。
It was just as well for Billy, the girl didn't want to kiss at all.
比利正好也不必遺憾，那女孩根本不想接吻。
After rushing the girl out the back door, Billy came out and greeted his mother with Mikey at the door.
匆匆忙忙把女孩從后門打發(fā)走之后，比利出來(lái)和媽媽打招呼，而米基就站在門口。
Later Billy thanked Mikey.
后來(lái)比利對(duì)米基表示了感謝。
"You did a great job keeping abreast of the situation! Do you want to go see a movie tomorrow?"
"你見機(jī)行事做得不錯(cuò)！你想明天去看電影嗎？"
"Yeah, yeah!" and then Mikey was so happy that he went and told his mom that Billy was taking him to a movie for keeping a secret.
"想，想！"然后米基高興得去跟媽媽說(shuō)比利要帶他去看電影，因?yàn)樗嫠Ａ嗣堋?/div>
"What secret?" mom asked!
"你保了什么密？"媽媽問(wèn)道！
