Twenty Five To Battle!
第二十五課 戰斗吧！
"Don't be besieged with fear, men! " said the King as his horse backed up so that everyone could see him.
"士兵們，不要被恐怖所包圍！" 國王說，他的馬后退了一下，這樣就能看見他了。
"We were born to fight this battle and we won't be beaten!"
"我們天生就要打這場仗，我們不會被打敗的。"
The men cheered and spured their horses on as if to fight.
人們歡呼著，讓馬兒快速奔跑，好像要上戰場。
"We were born of victory" the king continued, "and I'm not aware of a single Locksley who has ever lost!"
國王繼續說道，"我們生來就是勝利的，我們還不知道有哪個洛克斯吃過敗仗！"
Be bold to battle, men!
兵士們，勇敢地戰斗把！
Onward, let's fight! We're behind schedule now and we have women waiting for our return."
前進！殺啊！現在我們已經晚了，女人們正等著我們回去里。"
The men laughed and cheered.
士兵們笑著歡呼起來。
And then the fighting began.
接著戰斗就打響了。
Men wih swords and spears clashed.
士兵們拿著刀和槍發出撞擊聲。
Many died.
很多人死了。
But no one died thinking that they would have been better off being born into a different kingdom.
但是沒有一個人死時想過出生在一個不同的國度里他們的日子會過的更好。
Each was proud and each was certain that their death meant that they were bound for glory is the afterlife.
每個人都感到驕傲，每個人都深信他們的死意味著他們正在去往天國的路上。
When the tide turned, however, and the King's men retreated for a rest the King spoke again.
當激戰過后，士兵們休息時，國王又講話了。
"Ay, we were blind to how many of them there were.
"唉！我們不知道他們有多少人。
It will be rough now.
現在情勢很危險，
But though we are behind in numbers, yet we are bound to defeat them.
盡管我們在人數上落后于他們，但我們一定會打敗他們。
I was not born yesterday, men.
士兵們，我并不傻。
It's our destiny and here's how we'll do it."
這是我們的命運，我們就這么干."
With that the men huddled as the King shared his ideas.
聽到這里，士兵們擠成一團，聽著國王發表他的高見。
It was a risky plan and very big of the King to take such a daring role as to charge the enemy single-handed.
這是一個冒險的計劃，國王真是雄心勃勃，他要扮演一個勇敢的角色，單槍匹馬沖向敵人。
But when implemented, the enemy was shocked and the men rushed to battle in the pre-planned formation.
但是在執行這個計劃的時候，敵人大為吃驚，士兵們用事先部署好的隊形沖進了戰場。
The victory was theirs!
他們取得了勝利！
