Is It Worthwhile to Do Business at College?
大學(xué)經(jīng)商好嗎
College days are important stage. It is important for college students to spend this period of time on academic development. However, many students are doing business in their leisure time. Opinions on this phenomenon differ from person to person. Some people think it is something worthwhile to do. Others hold that for college students only the academic work is worthwhile. I am in favor of the former.
對于學(xué)生來說，大學(xué)是人生的重要階段。大學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)是非常重要的。但是，許多學(xué)生在課余時(shí)間經(jīng)商。關(guān)于這種現(xiàn)象人們見仁見智。許多人認(rèn)為這樣做是有意義的。而又有些人認(rèn)為只有學(xué)習(xí)才是正確的。我同意前者的觀點(diǎn)。
Doing business at college has got more advantages than disadvantages. The first reason is that by doing business at college, students can earn some money to pay for their study. This is sometimes very important in that it could be of great help to their parents. Secondly, doing business is a good social practice. What they have learned in class should be put into practice before it becomes useful knowledge. Those who have gained some experience at college in the field of business will prove more competitive in getting employed after graduation. Of course, one can not ignore the fact that doing business is quite risky sometimes. If you are a green hand, you may lose money instead of making profits. Moreover, it takes a lot of time and energy. A good balance between academic work and business is vital, for at college the first priorityis always academic development for all.
大學(xué)經(jīng)商利大于弊。首先，學(xué)生能夠掙取學(xué)費(fèi)。這非常重要，因?yàn)檫@將讓父母減輕壓力。第二，經(jīng)商對于社會技能非常重要。學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的知識應(yīng)該應(yīng)用到實(shí)踐當(dāng)中。那些在大學(xué)獲得經(jīng)商經(jīng)驗(yàn)的學(xué)生，他們畢業(yè)之后將會變得更有競爭力。當(dāng)然，有時(shí)經(jīng)商也是存在風(fēng)險(xiǎn)的，這是無法否認(rèn)的。如果你是一位新手，你可能會有賠錢的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。而且，經(jīng)商會花費(fèi)學(xué)生許多的時(shí)間和精力。學(xué)生應(yīng)該在經(jīng)商和學(xué)習(xí)之間掌握平衡，這是非常重要的，對于大學(xué)生來說，學(xué)習(xí)還是他們的第一要務(wù)。
From the above mentioned points, we can conclude that doing business at college is worthwhile only if one can keep a good balance between study and business.
