Local authorities in Weifang, Shandong province, have detained a driver accused of dangerously speeding in a Xiaomi SU7 Ultra on public roads, following a viral video that sparked widespread public concern.
日前，一段視頻在網上瘋傳，引發了公眾的廣泛關注。近日，山東省濰坊市有關部門拘留了一名駕駛小米SU7 Ultra在公共道路上危險超速的司機。
The video, circulated online earlier this week, showed the vehicle's dashboard screen accelerating from 0 to nearly 300 km/h in approximately 17 seconds during a late-night drive on Thursday.
本周早些時候在網上流傳的這段視頻顯示，在周四深夜的一次駕駛中，該車的儀表盤屏幕在大約17秒內從0加速到近300公里/小時。
The footage ignited heated discussions, with many netizens condemning the reckless act and calling for stricter penalties for street racing. Some users proposed implementing speed-limiting technologies similar to drone restrictions, and mandatory training to unlock high-speed modes.
該視頻引發網友討論。在評論區，不少人表示這樣開車太危險了，希望能夠嚴懲這種在公共道路飆車的人，還有網友建議應該像大疆針對無人機那樣推出電子圍擋，限制人們在公共區域的極速駕駛，而且需要通過一定考核才能解鎖極速模式，讓人們對速度有敬畏之心。
The Weifang Municipal Public Security Bureau announced on Saturday the arrest of the suspect, surnamed Li. According to the police report, authorities launched an investigation after receiving public tips on Friday. Using big data analysis and intelligent matching technology, they identified Li and apprehended him the same day. Li admitted to severe speeding violations. The case remains under further investigation.

In response to concerns over the SU7 Ultra's performance capabilities, Xiaomi Auto has introduced a "driving safety protection" feature in its latest vehicle system update (version 1.5.0). The update caps the car's maximum speed at 140 km/h and restricts power output when the feature is enabled.
針對小米SU7 Ultra的速度，小米汽車也做出了一定的限制。據報道，有小米汽車用戶稱，在車機系統更新后的1.5.0版本里面，確實已經增加了“駕駛安全保護”功能，功能開啟后，車輛最高車速限制為140千米/小時，車輛最大動力性能被限制。
New vehicles will now default to a "beginner mode", displaying a "safety protection" notification on the dashboard until the driver accumulates 300 kilometers of mileage.
這個版本被正式推送后，所有的新車都會被強制開啟新手模式，車機屏幕的右上角會顯示“安全保護”四個字，直到總里程達到300公里后可解鎖。
