Several brands of sanitary pads have recently been found to be shorter than the lengths stated on their packaging. As essential items for women, the quality of these pads has raised widespread concern. Reports suggest that manufacturers are exploiting the allowable margin of error in current standards by producing pads at the minimum acceptable length, which appears to be a common issue in the industry.
近日，多款衛(wèi)生巾因?qū)嶋H長度短于外包裝標(biāo)明長度，衛(wèi)生巾是數(shù)億女性日常使用的基本生活物資，其質(zhì)量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)問題自然會(huì)引發(fā)廣泛關(guān)注。從相關(guān)報(bào)道來看，衛(wèi)生巾廠商在現(xiàn)行標(biāo)準(zhǔn)允許的誤差范圍內(nèi)“取低值”，似乎已成為行業(yè)通病。
After the incident, many consumers started buying medical-grade sanitary pads. Dr Gao Yan, chief obstetrician at Sichuan Provincial Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital, explained that these pads adhere to stricter sterility and disinfection standards and are primarily intended for postpartum women, those recovering from major gynecological surgery, or experiencing heavy bleeding.
事件發(fā)生后，許多消費(fèi)者開始購買醫(yī)用衛(wèi)生巾。四川省婦女兒童醫(yī)院產(chǎn)科主任醫(yī)師高巖介紹，這些衛(wèi)生巾符合更嚴(yán)格的無菌和消毒標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，主要用于產(chǎn)后、大婦科手術(shù)恢復(fù)期或大出血的婦女。
"Although medical-grade pads have higher standards, regular sanitary pads are perfectly adequate for everyday use," Dr Gao advised. "I recommend that consumers choose based on their actual needs to avoid unnecessary spending. Be cautious with different brands and products on the market, consult a doctor if you have any issues, and keep evidence to protect your rights. "
“雖然醫(yī)用衛(wèi)生巾的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)更高，但普通衛(wèi)生巾在正常情況下也完全可以滿足女性的需求。建議消費(fèi)者根據(jù)自己的實(shí)際情況和需求進(jìn)行選擇，避免過度消費(fèi)。同時(shí)，對(duì)于市場(chǎng)上各種衛(wèi)生巾品牌和產(chǎn)品，消費(fèi)者也應(yīng)保持警惕，使用不適時(shí)及時(shí)咨詢醫(yī)生，同時(shí)留存證據(jù)，維護(hù)消費(fèi)者權(quán)益。”高巖說。
