China has become one of the countries with the fastest energy intensity reduction, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). In recent years, the country has achieved remarkable results in reforming its energy consumption patterns, with total energy consumption effectively controlled and energy consumption structure significantly improved, said the NDRC.
據國家發展改革委介紹，近年來，我國能源消費方式變革成效顯著，能源消費總量有效控制，能源消費結構明顯改善，成為全球能耗強度降低最快的國家之一。
Reaching peak carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality will mean a broad and profound systemic socio-economic transformation. Based on China's energy and resource endowment, we will advance initiatives to reach peak carbon emissions in a well-planned and phased way in line with the principle of building the new before discarding the old. We will exercise better control over the amount and intensity of energy consumption, particularly of fossil fuels, and transition gradually toward controlling both the amount and intensity of carbon emissions. We will promote clean, low-carbon, and high-efficiency energy use and push forward the clean and low-carbon transition in industry, construction, transportation, and other sectors.
實現碳達峰碳中和是一場廣泛而深刻的經濟社會系統性變革。立足我國能源資源稟賦，堅持先立后破，有計劃分步驟實施碳達峰行動。完善能源消耗總量和強度調控，重點控制化石能源消費，逐步轉向碳排放總量和強度“雙控”制度。推動能源清潔低碳高效利用，推進工業、建筑、交通等領域清潔低碳轉型。
