Yuyuan Lantern Festival shines in Paris
豫園燈會走出國門 閃耀巴黎風(fēng)情園
The annual Yuyuan Garden lantern show in Shanghai, which has been listed as one of China's forms of intangible cultural heritage, is one of the country's oldest lantern fairs, where locals go to soak up the festive atmosphere and wish each other well during the Spring Festival.
一年一度的上海豫園燈會已被列為國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)，是中國最古老的燈會之一，每逢春節(jié)，當(dāng)?shù)厝硕紩ツ抢锔惺芄?jié)日氣氛，互送祝福。
Now, the beloved Yuyuan Garden lantern show is taking place outside of China for the very first time, with 60 large-sized luminous structures and more than 2,000 lanterns illuminating the Jardin d'Acclimatation - the oldest amusement park in Paris, as a way to celebrate the upcoming 2024 Year of the Dragon with an intriguing blend of Eastern and Western culture.
現(xiàn)在，備受喜愛的豫園燈會首次走出國門，60架大型燈組和2000余盞華燈交相輝映，照亮了巴黎最古老的游樂園——巴黎風(fēng)情園，以中西文化交融的奇妙方式慶祝即將到來的2024年龍年。
From dragon-shaped lanterns to motifs inspired by the legendary world of Shanhai Jing, or "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", a Chinese literary classic, the Yuyuan Garden lantern show in Paris has built a world of lights and imagination for visitors, showcasing the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
從龍形花燈到以《山海經(jīng)》為靈感的圖騰，巴黎豫園燈展為游客打造了一個富有想象力的燈光世界，展示了中國傳統(tǒng)文化的魅力。
Highlighting various cultural and spiritual symbols, the lantern displays include mythical creatures such as Kunpeng and Yinglong, representing ambition and strength.
燈展突出了各種文化和精神象征，如鯤鵬和應(yīng)龍等代表著雄心和力量的神獸。
Beyond the lanterns, visitors can also admire traditional Chinese costumes and accessories, and enjoy Chinese cuisine.

With a mixture of dancing, acrobatics and martial arts performances, the lantern show promises to be an immersive experience in the world of Chinese folklore and lanterns.

The show is open until February 25, 2024.
此次燈會將持續(xù)到2024年2月25日。
More than just a lantern show, it also serves as an opening activity to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France in 1964.
這不僅是一場傳統(tǒng)燈會，也是慶祝中法建交60周年的開幕活動。
