China announced the resumption of group tours on Thursday to another 78 countries, including popular destinations such as Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.
8月10日，中國宣布恢復(fù)包括以日本、英國、美國和澳大利亞等熱門國家為目的地的78個國家的團隊旅游。
The announcement led to a surge in inquiries at travel agencies, which quickly added new travel packages to respond to demand.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism said in a notice starting on Thursday, travel agencies and online travel companies can resume group travel services to the 78 destinations.

China resumed outbound group tours to 60 countries in February and March.

Online travel services provider Trip.com reported a more than 20-fold increase in outbound travel inquiries following the announcement, particularly for the weeklong National Day holiday in October.
