Assembly of the core module of the world's first commercial onshore small modular reactor (SMR), Linglong One, was completed on Thursday. This marks the peak of the installation process of Linglong One, representing a historic step in the miniaturization of global nuclear energy and confirming that China is at the forefront globally in terms of modular SMR construction.
8月10日，全球首個陸上商用模塊化小型核反應堆“玲龍一號”核心模塊吊裝成功。這是“玲龍一號”核島設備安裝關鍵路徑上的第一個里程碑節點，代表全球核能小型化邁出了歷史性一步，標志著我國在模塊式小型堆建造上走在了世界前列。
Based on China’s energy and resource endowment, we will advance initiatives to reach peak carbon emissions in a well-planned and phased way in line with the principle of building the new before discarding the old. We will exercise better control over the amount and intensity of energy consumption, particularly of fossil fuels, and transition gradually toward controlling both the amount and intensity of carbon emissions. We will promote clean, low-carbon, and high-efficiency energy use and push forward the clean and low-carbon transition in industry, construction, transportation, and other sectors.
立足我國能源資源稟賦，堅持先立后破，有計劃分步驟實施碳達峰行動。完善能源消耗總量和強度調控，重點控制化石能源消費，逐步轉向碳排放總量和強度“雙控”制度。推動能源清潔低碳高效利用，推進工業、建筑、交通等領域清潔低碳轉型。
