Boo:Yeah, I found it while cleaning out my closet.

You look like you were an honor roll student.

I was just an average student, not the valedictorian, but not a dropout either.

Cheech:Who is that? She's very pretty.

Boo:That's my friend Marlene.

In high school, she was good at everything.

She had a high GPA and took every available AP class.
她成績很好而且每門課程都拿最高分。
Cheech:So she was a nerd.
奇克:那她是個(gè)書呆子嘍。
Boo:No, not at all.
波爾:不是的，一點(diǎn)也不。
She was also a jock, a member of lots of student clubs, and was student body president.
她也是個(gè)運(yùn)動(dòng)健將,而且是很多學(xué)生俱樂部的成員,還擔(dān)任學(xué)生會(huì)主席。
Cheech:Wow, she must have been popular.
奇克:哇,她一定很受歡迎。
Boo:She was, but she wasn't stuck-up.
波爾:的確是這樣,但她并不高傲。
She got along with everybody, not just the football players and cheerleaders.
她和每個(gè)人相處融洽,不僅是足球隊(duì)員及啦啦隊(duì)。
She was friends with geeks and goths, too. Everybody liked her.

Cheech:Where is she now?

Boo:Yes, of course. She's doing very well and is very successful.

Cheech:And single?

Boo:Yeah, but you're not her type.

Cheech:And what type is that?

Boo:You? Definitely a druggie.
