太和殿
Hall of Supreme Harmony Taihedian Commonly known as the Hall of Gold Throne,the magnificent structure was built in 1406 and renovated in 1695.
太和殿Taihedian俗稱黃金王座大廳,壯麗的建筑建于1406年,1695年裝修。
It is 35.5 meters high and has a floor space of 2 300 square meters with 182 beams and 84 pillars.
它高35.5米,占地面積300平方米,有182梁和84根柱子。
It is the largest wood structure extant in China.During the Ming and Qing dynasties grand ceremonies such as the enthronement of the emperor,New Year’s Dayproclamation of imperial edicts,receiving successful candidates of imperial examination,appointment of commander-in-chief of expedition troops were held here.
它是中國現(xiàn)存最大的木結(jié)構(gòu)。在明清兩代皇帝的登基典禮,元旦、詔令的宣告,接見科舉成功的候選人,任命遠征部隊的總司令等重大儀式都在這里舉行。
Inside the Hall of Supreme Harmony The interior of the Gold Throne Hall is preserved as in ancient times. On the raised platform is the gilded imperial throne placed on a dais two meters high.
在太和殿黃金王座大廳的內(nèi)部以古代風格保存。兩米高的鍍金的帝王寶座放在凸起的平臺上。
Behind the throne is a carved screen.On either side of the throne are a crane-shaped candlestick,an elephant-shaped incense burner and a column shaped incense burner with a pagoda on top which are all cloisonne wares.
背后的寶座是一個雕刻的屏幕。兩側(cè)的寶座是鶴狀的燭臺,象形的香爐和柱形香爐頂部有一座寶塔,它們都是景泰藍產(chǎn)品。
Throne The painted golden throne with a splendid screen behind it stands on a two meter high dais in the center of the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
寶座漆成金色的,王座背后的兩米高屏幕站在太和殿的中心。
Its back and the lower part are covered with coiled dragons. This is the most magnificent of all the thrones in the palace.
其背部和下部覆蓋著龍卷。這是宮殿最華麗的寶座。
