Meet Sir Richard Branson.He's a famous business man.
Sir Richard has had a very interesting and exciting life so far.
Here are some of the special things he has done.
He has tarted over a hundred companies.
Sir Richard started his first company when he was seventeen.
Now he runs many different companies.
These include travel,music and soft drinks companies.
When Sir Richard travels on his own airline,he always helps his staff.
He talks to passengers,serves drinks and plays games with children.
He airline has won many awards.He has broken three world rccords.
Sir Richard enjoys doing dangerous and exciting things.
He holds the world records for crossing the Atlantic Ocean by speedboat and balloon.
He has also broken the world record for crossing the Pacific Ocean in a balloon.
Sir Richard has tried to fly around the world in a balloon twice.
Once there was fire in his balloon and he had to land in the sea.

He has done a lot of work for charity:
Sir Richard does not like smoking or cigarette advertising.
So he started a charity called 'parents Against Tobacco'.
He also gives a lot of money to other charities.He has bought an island.
Sir Richard spends his holidays on his own island.
He always invites some of his staff to join him.
He enjoys talking to them and listening to their ideas.
Drivers,watchmen,air hostesses,pilots and secretaries have all had holidays on Sir Richard's island.

Sir Richard is one of the richest businessmen in the world but he still cares a lot about people.
He writes his staff a letter every month and has a big party for them every year.
They can write to him whenever they like and he always replies.
'If my staff are happy,then my customers will be happy too'.he says.
