Mike: What do you want to do?
邁克：你想做什么呢？
Joe: No idea. Why don't you decide?
喬：不知道，你說呢？
Mike: How about going to the movies?
邁克：去看電影如何？
Joe: Now that sounds like a great idea. I've got the newspaper in my bag. Wait a minute, I'll check the movie reviews to see what good movies are showing. I prefer to go to the movie theater rather than MTV. It has a better atmosphere.
喬：聽起來是個(gè)好主意。我袋子里有報(bào)紙。等等！我看一下電影簡介，看看有沒有什么好電影在上映。比起MTV，我較喜歡去電影院看電影，那里氣氛比較好。
Mike: Okay. Check to see if there are any horror movies showing. I like those. I think horrors are exciting. They give me a thrill.
邁克：好啊！找找看有沒有恐怖片在上映。我喜歡恐怖片，我覺得恐怖片很刺激。
Joe: No. The last time we went to watch a horror, it was called "Alien". It nearly frightened me to death. I had nightmares for weeks afterwards.
喬：不！上次我們?nèi)タ吹目植榔懂愋巍罚彀盐覈標(biāo)懒耍筮B續(xù)好幾個(gè)星期，我都做惡夢。
Mike: Alright. But we're not going to see another tragedy movie. I don't care if it is a powerful movie. I fell asleep during the last one, it was so boring.
邁克：好，但是我們可別看悲劇電影。我并不在乎它是不是一部具震撼力的電影。在看上一部悲劇電影時(shí)，我睡著了，那部電影好無聊。
Joe: I think that was the director's fault for making such a bad movie, not yours. I usually like tragedies because they have strong plots. They make you think after you've left the theater.
喬：我覺得是導(dǎo)演的錯(cuò)，導(dǎo)如此差勁的電影。不是你的錯(cuò)。我通常喜歡悲劇的原因在于它們的劇情十足，在你離開電影院之后，你還會想著劇情。
