《化身博士》Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Katie O. Another credible example of the idea that even the best laid plans are at the mercy of the unknown is exemplifies through the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, began his experiment with the best of intentions and an almost perfect plan; to separate the common person’s good and evil side, and possibly create a perfect society. Jekyll begin his experiments on the only person he was willing to sacrifice if needed, himself. However, in the end his evil side dominated and eventually contributed to his death. Although Jekyll had carefully planned his experiment, in the end he could no longer control what he had created and his plans simply went to the mercy of the unknown.
點評:這一段最出彩的部分對突出了善與惡的對比,而這也是史蒂文森小說的中心思想。這段語句優(yōu)美豐富,過度自然得體。
