Lesson 35: What's Your Advice?
第35課：你有什么建議？
PROJECT,MAKE AN ADVICE DIAMOND.Give your friends good advice for the future!

Take a piece of paper. Your teacher will show you how to fold it into an advice diamond.

After you fold and colour your advice diamond, you will need to write some advice.

What good advice can you give to your friends?Things like:

Have ambition.Make goals for the future.Always do your homework.

Help your mother and father.Work hard to improve your English.

Danny and Jenny have made advice diamonds.

How do they use them?

"Let's use mine first," says Jenny.

She shows Danny her diamond.

"Choose a colour," she says.

Danny chooses "purple".

Danny looks inside the diamond.

He can see four numbers:

"Choose a number," says Jenny.

"Five," Danny replies.

Jenny opens and closes the diamond as she counts:

"One, two, three, four, five.

Choose a number again, Danny."
再選一個數(shù)字，丹尼。”
"Twelve," he says.

Jenny looks under the number.

What does it say?

"Nobody wants to be sick. Eat good food.
“沒人想要生病。吃有營養(yǎng)的飯。
It makes you strong," she reads to Danny.

"That's very good advice, Jenny.

Sometimes I eat too many donuts." says Danny.

"Let's play with my advice diamond, Jenny. Choose a colour."

I choose green, then."

"You're good at this game, Jenny!" says Danny.

Danny spells: "G-R-E-N."

"Danny! That's not how you spell green! You forgot an E!" says Jenny.

"Oh, sorry!" says Danny.
丹尼說：“哦，對不起！
"Choose a number."
“選擇一個數(shù)字。”
Jenny looks inside the advice diamond.
珍妮看著建議菱形塊里面。
"Fifty-one," she says.
她說：“五十一。”
Danny counts to fifty-one as he opens and closes the advice diamond.
丹尼打開又合上那個建議菱形塊時，數(shù)到五十一。
Then Jenny picks another number.
然后珍妮選了另一個數(shù)字。
This makes me tired!
這使我累死了！
Then Jenny picks another number.

They look under the number:

"'Fast is the opposite of slow.'
珍妮說：“‘快是慢的反義詞。’
That's not advice, Danny!" Jenny says.

"Let's do it again!" says Danny. 丹尼說：

Jenny chooses green and two numbers.

Danny spells and counts.

Jenny laughs, "That's very good advice, Danny!"
