Vivien: Singapore is really a small country. It is as big as a small city in the United States of America.
維維安：新加坡這個國家真的很小啊，也就只有美國的一個小城市那么大。
Emma: Yes. It is a city state. But Singapore is a huge city with diverse cultural attractions and amazing sights for travelers.
埃瑪：是啊，新加坡是個城市型國家。不過雖然小，但是新加坡卻有著豐富多樣的文化特色和能吸引游客的令人嘆為觀止的景色。
Vivien: Yeah, I agree. Look at people in the streets. We can see there are Asians, White people and Black people.
維維安：確實，我也這么認為。看看這個街上的人們，有亞洲人、白種人，也有黑種人。
Emma: Yes, you are right. That is why Singapore is called a miniature of Asia for being full of Chinese, Malays, Indians and also a large group of workers and travelers around the globe.
埃瑪：對啊。這就是新加坡被稱為亞洲的縮影的原因。因為這個地方吸引著中國人、馬來西亞人、印度人，還有很多來自世界各地的工人和游客。
