On Hobby
Mrs. Smith: Hello, David.
David: Good morning. Mrs. Smith.
Mrs. Smith: I suppose you're going off to play football today.
David: No, not today. Today I'm going to a friend's house to trade stamps. It is my favorite hobby.
Mrs. Smith: I collected stamps when I was a kid too. I still have my whole collection. If you're interested, you can bring yours over and we can compare collections.
David: I'd love to. I'm sure you'll have a few stamps I've never seen. It might be interesting to see them.
Mrs. Smith: I imagine I have a few that will be new to you. I stopped collecting stamps more than 20 years ago before you were born.
David: That sounds great. Can I ask why did you hold on to your collection if you don't collect anymore?
Mrs. Smith: I don't know really. I just don't want to part with them. I hope you look after your collections as well as I have looked after mine.
David: I certainly intend to.
