Talking about Online Shopping
Anna: I'm gonna buy something on the Internet, but I've never shopped online before. What are the benefits and drawbacks?

Ben: Now, with only a few clicks of a mouse, you can go online to buy just about anything you want. It's quick, easy, convenient and economical. But, just as in the bricks-and-mortar world, the Internet shopping experience can be marred by unscrupulous dealers who constantly devise new ways to deceive consumers out of their money.

Anna: So how to shop safely and wisely online?

Ben: You need to keep a few tips in mind. First, always shop on secure sites. Second, be familiar with the name or reputation of any company you're dealing with. Third, check for expected delivery dates, shipping and handling fees, warranties, return policies and other important information. Fourth, secure your computer. At a minimum, your computer should have anti-virus and anti-spyware software and a firewall. Finally, be wary of identity theft. Never give out your ID card number.
