阿美的室友又要請(qǐng)假逃課，是因?yàn)樗娴奶€是別的什么原因呢？看看就知道了。

Roommate: May, could you bring this note to Professor Li for me today?
May: Sure, no problem. Asking for leave again? You have been absent from class five times this semester.
Roommate: I know. But attending Miss Li's class is just waste of time. No more than one third of her students will go to her class.
May: I agree that Miss Li doesn't teach so well. Most students either sleep or do other things in her class.
Roommate: Yeah, my boyfriend plays the video game every time in class with me. Or I chat with my friends through text messages.
May: Fortunately her class is just an elective course, not as important as compulsory courses.
Roommate: Right, so we must spare some time to attend selective courses.
May: But isn't it too impolite to be absent?
Roommate: What can I do? I have things to do in Students' Government.
May: Oh, I thought you just gave an excuse on this note.
Roommate: Sometimes I will try various excuses. But this is my last time asking for leave. Or I will have a bad record.
May: Yeah, besides, your credit will be deducted. That is kind of serious.
Roommate: I have been absented from many classes this semester just because of my work in the Students' Government.
May: You can't write with one hand and draw with the other.
Roommate: I am thinking about quitting my job in the student government. But before that, I must do my job. Bye. Don't forget about that note.
May: You can count on me.

室友: 阿美，今天你能幫我把這張便條帶給李教授嗎？
阿美: 好的，沒有問題。又要請(qǐng)假？這個(gè)學(xué)期你已經(jīng)請(qǐng)了五次假了。
室友: 我知道，但是上她的課只是浪費(fèi)時(shí)間。上她課的學(xué)生總數(shù)不超過三分之一。
阿美: 我也認(rèn)為李教授教得不是很好，大部分同學(xué)上她的課的時(shí)候要么就睡覺，要么就做別的事情。
室友: 是的，在她的課上，我男朋友常陪我玩電子游戲，要不然我就跟朋友發(fā)短信聊天。
阿美: 幸虧她的課只是門選修課，不像必修課那么重要。
室友: 沒錯(cuò)，我們必須多留出一點(diǎn)時(shí)間來上選修課。
阿美: 但是逃課好像不太禮貌吧？
室友: 我能怎么辦？我在學(xué)生會(huì)有事情要做。
阿美: 我想你應(yīng)該在這個(gè)條子上寫一個(gè)理由。
室友: 有時(shí)我會(huì)嘗試寫各種理由，但是這是我最后一次請(qǐng)假了。否則我會(huì)有不良記錄的。
阿美: 嗯，除此之外，學(xué)分也會(huì)被減。事情會(huì)比較嚴(yán)重。
室友: 這個(gè)學(xué)期由于學(xué)生會(huì)的工作，我已經(jīng)缺了不少課了。
阿美: 人不能一心兩用嘛。
室友: 我想辭掉學(xué)生會(huì)的工作。但是在那之前，我必須完成我的工作。拜拜，別忘了請(qǐng)假條。
阿美: 相信我。
