Shirley: Today is the Lantern Festival. The thing that I like most about the Lantern Festival is the beautiful lanterns. Also, it's an old Chinese tradition to solve the puzzles on the lanterns, which is really interesting. Today I saw the biggest dragon lantern I've ever seen in all my life,. Moreover, it was really eye-catching when it spewed fireworks from its huge mouth.

Carnival

Carnival is an annual festival celebrated in many countries of the world. It was first celebrated in Italy, and then spread to other parts of the world. For African people, carnival became a way to show their rich cultural traditions. African dance and music make their appearances in the carnival festivities. And also, we see feathers which were frequently used by Africans on masks before, are now used in many, many forms in creating carnival costumes.
