注:英語(yǔ)的 resting-place 雖然有“休息處”的意思,但更經(jīng)常的是用來(lái)指“墳?zāi)埂?,即“最后安息之處”。因此,把公共?chǎng)所的“休息處”譯為 resting-place 不很合適。也有人將它譯為 rest-room,但那更不妥當(dāng),因?yàn)橛⒄Z(yǔ)中的 rest-room 是“廁所”的委婉說(shuō)法,而“休息處”不是這個(gè)意思。
