About 40% of the college students hold a relatively stable part-time job, and more than 90% of them have or are planning to work part-time. The pays they can get for their part-time work are greatly different depending on their majors. Those majoring in IT can get more than 1,000 yuan for a single time by develop software or compose webpages for the net companies. Those working in ordinary commodities promotion or as tutors can only get a low pay. College students do not have a lasting enthusiasm over part-time jobs because of the following reasons: on the one hand, working part-time is but one of the various ways of practical social activities; one the other hand, most of the students work only because they want to raise enough money for some expensive commodities. Once they achieved their purposes, they will lose their enthusiasm at once and get into begin their “honeymoon” on the consumption of the expensive commodities they just bought.
