The sun is setting,
And in that moment
I feel homesick.
The golden light points to the east,
East, where the trees
Cast their shadows,
Is the brightest part
Of the land.
In the east is
My home.
The sun is setting,

It sets off rays,
The rays of gold, like those that
Flash in my mother's eyes.
The sunlight will disappear, and
Mother will leave me,
Walking into the night.
