變化
It is no doubt that every one may experience some changes in his or her life. It seems to me that the most unforgettable change happened 3 years ago. At that time,I just completed my senior high school and was admitted to a university far away from my hometown. To be frank, my parents did not want me to study in other cities because I was the only child in the family. They worried whether I could live independently. They kept on persuading me to choose one close to my home. But I thought I was coshered and just needed some challenges. I told them that I was fully confident in myself. After many talks and even arguments,I really convinced them by my strong mind and selected a university far away from my hometown. Last month,when I went back home and talked about this issue with my parents, they all thought that I learned much from studying in a faraway place and they believed I had made a smart decision.
毫無疑問，每個人都經(jīng)歷了生活中的一些變化。對我來說，最難忘的變化發(fā)生在3年前。那時，我剛高中畢業(yè)，準備報考的大學離家很遠。說實話，因為我是家中的獨子，我父母不想讓我到其他城市上大學。他們擔心我不能獨立生活。還一直勸我選個離家近的大學。但我覺得我從小嬌生慣養(yǎng)，正需要一些挑戰(zhàn)。我告訴他們我對自己充滿信心。經(jīng)過多次的交談甚至是爭吵，我終于用堅定的意志說服了他們。我選擇了一所遠離家鄉(xiāng)的大學。上個月，當我回家時，我還和我父母談起這件事，他們都覺得我在遠方讀書能學到很多東西，還認為我當時的決定是明智的。
