plume - port After the plunge
跳崖之后
The plume of smoke was the first thing Missy saw.
米西首先看到的 是團團濃煙。
Then she looked over and a bee was busy ollinating a flower.
然后她放眼望去，一只 蜜蜂正忙著給一朵花 傳授花粉。
She wiped her face of the sweat coming out of her pores. Where was she?
她擦掉臉上從毛孔冒出 的汗。她這是在哪里 啊?
The last thing she remembered was plummeting from a cliff.
她記得她做的最后 一件事是從懸崖 一頭栽下。
Going on living had become pointless
繼續活下去就變得 沒有意義了。

Then she saw the old woman pondering next to her.

She was beautiful and Asian, looking like an elderly porcelain doll.
她是個美麗的亞洲人， 長得像一個年長的 瓷娃娃。
"Well, there weren't any pollutants in the water you landed in.

That's the good news!"The woman said.
這是個好消息!" 那個女人說，
"But why you jumped I won't ask.That' s not my policy.

Why didn't you just take poison?
你為什么不服毒呢?
That's how my friends did it when I was young!
我年輕時我的朋友要 自殺就這么干。
Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to ask!" Missy said nothing.

She began to polish the dirt off her hands and body.
她開始把手上和 身上的灰塵擦掉。
"I better get you back to town." The older woman said.

"Please no."said Missy suddenly.

"Can you take me to some place that's not populated?

I don't want to live near people anymore."

"Let me take a poll!" The woman said,

and then looked to her left, right, front and back.

"Nope, no one says you can't come with me!
"不，沒人說你 不能跟我走!
I'm heading up north into the mountains to my cabin in.
我正往北走， 到我山里的小木屋去。
Do you want to come with me?
你要跟我一起去嗎?"
"Yes." Said Missy. And her new life began.
"是的。"米西說道。 她的新生活就 這樣開始了。
