1. Do you like music? What sort of music do you like best and why?

Yes, I like music,especially soothing music that makes me feel relaxed after a day's work. I'm fond of light music in which the rhythm and sound of nature can be heard:the rhythmic drumming in the surf, the measured meter of rain and the melodic tunes of singing birds. I like that, really.

I always listen to music while I'm doing housework because I hate doing chores,but music is fun. It makes me happy. Actually music is a part of my life. I listen to it when I'm in a good mood and in a bad mood as well. The difference is that I'll choose different kinds of music for different occasions.
我總是在做家務的時候聽音樂，因為我討厭做家務，但是音樂很有趣。音樂使我快樂。實際上，音樂是我生命的一部分。無論是快樂還是悲傷，我都會聽音樂，所不同的只是我會因場合不同而選擇不同的音樂。
3. Should children learn to play musical instruments? Why or why not?

Many parents believe playing musical instruments is the only way to cultivate an interest in music, but I don't think so. To those children who don't like playing musical instruments, they also improve their reading, spelling and math skills. Furthermore, there are a simply joy in experimenting with an instrument, singing or simply enjoying is just enough.
很多家長以為演奏樂器是培養對音樂的興趣的唯一途徑，但我不這么認為。那些不喜歡演奏樂器的孩子們，他們同樣提高了他們的閱讀、拼寫以及數學技巧。此外，嘗試演奏樂器、唱歌僅是一種樂趣，或者只是享受就足夠了。
