3. How should the education be reformed to meet future challenges?

百年大計，教育為本。教育問題是一個十分重要的社會問題。我們一直在進行教育改革，不斷的摸索前行。而教育又和廣大考生息息相關。所以這類題目必考。這類問題的回答依然是“How”的問題。對于教育改革，可以從各個方面著手進行。國家應該做什么？學校應該做什么？教育大計，教師為本。教師應該做什么？學生自身呢？考生可以全面概括也可以從合適的切入點進行深入分析。

Candidate 1: With the development of society, almost every field in our life has changed greatly, which leads to more fierce challenges. How should the education be reformed to meet future challenges?

The prosperity of a nation depends on the development of education. Any development in science and technology throughout the world is due to the development of education which brings up intelligent people as contributors for the society. It is difficult to emphasize just how important the role of education is. There is no doubt that countries with underdeveloped education will remain poor.

Today, in my opinion, education must teach everyone how to be a good person. School education should not only teach students knowledge but also teach them how to learn. Teachers should try to teach students how to think, not what to think because the boss needs a person who has his own thinking. So how to think is very important in people's work. In other words, how to think can help people show his talent fully!

What's more, the team spirit should also be emphasized in the process of teaching. In addition, the enterprising spirit for a team can contribute mroe to the society.

Candidate 2: Because of the rapidly developing world, competitions of surviving in this modern world will be fierce. Therefore, it is necessary for our education system to be reformed to prepare graduates for tomorrow's society.

As we all know, compared with high scores of examination, our students' practical abilities are poor, which is the most important "survival skill" that people should obtain in the society which is full of competition. In my opinion, students should learn through practice, and school should encourage them to go out of campus and step into the real society to develop their practical abilities for future challenges.

In conclusion, the purpose of education is to train students and make them get ready for the future career and tomorrow's society. Nowadays, one with enormous practice can better adjust to the fast developing world and meet the future challenges.

Candidate 1首先點明了教育對整個國家發展的舉足輕重的作用。接著在第三段指出了自己認為改革應該從以下幾個方面進行，如：學校教育不應該僅僅教給學生知識，更應該教給他們學習的方法。老師應該注意培養學生思維能力。最后，考生指出，團隊精神也是學校教育培養的重點；Candidate 2重點側重分析一點即學生實際操作技能的培養，因為這是學生步入社會后最為重要的生存技能；Candidate 3的回答比較沒有新意。國家應該加大對中學教育的投入，包括改進教學設備，加大師資力度。應該為各行各業的人創辦社區大學。還應該發展遠程教育，以國外教學中得益。
