In an African village, eleven-year-old Ajani is bathing his younger sister. His fater is dead and his mother is sick.

He hopes that him mother will become healthy again, but this is not to be.

He hears an abrupt scream -- his mother has just died of Aids, the same disease that took his father.

He knows the meaning of the scream but -- too numb with sorrow to weep -- he gives a sideways glance, and then continues to bathe his sister. What will happen to them?

Aids is caused by a virus called HIV.
