The guy David Mellor needs no introduction.

He's so famous not only because of his talent
他太有名了，不僅僅是因為他的才能，
but because of his looks, neither pretty nor ugly.
還因為他的長相，既不能說漂亮也算不上丑陋。
That's strange, especially his face.
那太奇怪了，尤其是他的臉。
It's like a flat board.
（他的臉）就像一塊扁平的木板。
On the board, eyes, nose, mouth and ears are all in their places,
那張木板似的臉上，眼睛、鼻子、嘴巴、耳朵都長在該長的地方，
but each of them processes easily recognized characteristics.
但是每個器官都有很容易辨認的特征。
Take eyes for example.
就拿眼睛舉個例子。
When they are open, what you can see are two very narrow lines.
當他睜開眼睛時，你會看到兩條狹窄的縫隙。
And nose, a lot bit raised and shaped like a badminton bat.
他的鼻子很高挺，形狀像羽毛球拍。
And his smile face, well, let me say this way:
至于他的笑臉，嗯，我這么說吧：
Each corner could reach the ear, as the saying goes,
（笑得）嘴角都咧到耳朵了，常言道：
"smile from ear to ear" or "wear a big smile" .
“滿面笑容”或者是“笑容可掬”。
But our guy never smiles.
但是我們這位朋友從來不笑。
Actually he doesn't know how to smile, not to say laugh.
事實上他不知道怎么微笑，更不用說哈哈大笑了。
His full and very black moustache covers his upper lip.
他那烏黑濃密的胡須蓋住了他的上嘴唇。
Whenever he wants to start a speech, he bites his lips for a while.
每當他要開始演講時，他會咬住自己的嘴唇一會兒。
During his talk, he clears his throat from time to time.
在他講話的時候，他會不時地清一下嗓子。
Although he pretends to be gentle, he may make you feel very tense and worried.
雖然他裝出溫文爾雅的樣子，但是你可以感覺得到他很緊張、很焦慮。
Before I invite him onto the stage, one thing I should warn you of:
在我邀請他上臺之前，有一件事我得提醒你們：
Listen to his talk; don't watch his face or his show.
