I Like My Neighbourhood
我喜歡我的社區
My name is Michael, and I live in Canada.
我的名字是麥克， 我住在加拿大。
There is a pond near my house.
我的房子旁邊有一個池塘。
During the winter it freezes, and I can play hockey on it with my friends.
在冬天它會結冰，我可以和我的朋友們在上面打曲棍球。
In Canada, many people like hockey.
在加拿大，許多人都喜歡曲棍球。
There's also a new shopping centre in my neighbourhood.
在我的社區里面也有一個新的購物中心。
It's only three blocks from my house.

It has a coffee shop, a grocery store,
它有一個咖啡店，一個雜貨店，
a bank and a movie theatre.
一個銀行還有一座電影院。
My mum and dad shop at the grocery store.
我的媽媽和爸爸在雜貨店里面買東西。
Sometimes I go with them.
有時候我和他們一起去。
I really like the coffee shop.
我非常喜歡咖啡店。
I like to go there on weekends, but I have to do some housework first.
我喜歡在周末去，但是首先我必須做一些家務。
Then I walk or ride my bike to the coffee shop.
然后我步行或者騎自行車去咖啡店。
It's quiet there, and the chairs are very comfortable.
那里很安靜，椅子們非常舒服。
Sometimes I sit for the whole afternoon and do my homework.
有時候，我會在那里坐一下午寫作業。
Other times I just chat with my friends.

The coffee shop has lots of different drinks.

I usually have hot chocolate, but it's a little expensive.
