第二十課
No Stopping!
不能停下來！
Jenny and Brian are on their way to school.
珍妮和布萊恩正走在上學的路上。
They are walking because it's sunny.
它們步行因為今天很晴朗。
"This is fun," says Brian.
“這很有趣，”布萊恩說。
"Usually we take the school bus."
“通常我們是乘坐校車的?！?/div>

"I want to show you the neighbourhood this morning," says Jenny.
“今天早上我想帶你看看我們的社區(qū)，”珍妮說。
"The bus goes too fast.
“汽車開得太快。
When you walk, you can see things better."
當你步行的時候，你會看得更清楚?！?/div>
(They come to a corner.)
（他們來到了一個角落。）
"Do we go this way now?" asks Brian.
“我們現在要從這里走嗎？”布萊恩問。
He is pointing to the right.
他指著右邊。
"No. Turn left," says Jenny.
“不。向左走，”珍妮說。
"Then cross the street."
“然后過馬路。”
(They look left, then right. They cross the street.)
（他們向左看看，然后向右看看。他們過了馬路。）
"I like going this way," says Jenny.
“我喜歡這樣走，”珍妮說。
"We will go past some of my favourite shops."
“我們將會路過一些我最喜歡的商店?！?/div>
Soon they walk past a big store window.
很快，他們就路過了一個很大的商店櫥窗。
Brian stops.
布萊恩停了下來。
He sees bread, cakes and donuts.
他看見了面包，蛋糕還有甜甜圈。
"It's a bakery!" he says.
“這是一個面包房！”他說。
"Mmm...tea biscuits, yummy!
“嗯……早茶餅干，真好吃！
I'm hungry.
我餓了。
Let's go in and buy something!
"我們進去買點東西吧！”
"We can't stop now, Brian.
“我們現在不能停下來，布萊恩。
Come on!We don't want to be late for school," says Jenny.
快點！我們不想上學遲到，”珍妮說。
"We'll come here this afternoon."
“我們今天下午再來這里。”
Soon they pass a bookstore.
很快，他們路過了一個書店。
This time, Jenny stops.
這次，珍妮停了下來。
"This is my favourite store.
“這是我最喜歡的商店。
It has many good things to read.
"這里有很多好的讀物?！?/div>
Jenny stands and looks at all of the books in the window.
珍妮站在那里看著櫥窗里所有的書。
"Remember, Jenny.
“記住，珍妮。
We can't stop.
我們不能停下倆。
Let's go to school!" says Brian.
我們去上學吧！”布萊恩說。
