Conversation Two
對(duì)話二
M: Mary, I just got into a small accident with my new car.
男：瑪麗，我的新車剛剛發(fā)生了一個(gè)小事故。
W: Are you alright? What happened?
女：你沒(méi)事吧？怎么了？
M: I am fine. When I was looking for a parking spot I hit another car. I ran into its back bumper as it was backing out of a parking space. Fortunately, the driver did not get hurt.
男：我沒(méi)事。我在找停車車位的時(shí)候撞上了另外一輛車。那輛車從車位往外退的時(shí)候，我撞到了它的后保險(xiǎn)杠。幸運(yùn)的是，那個(gè)司機(jī)沒(méi)有受傷。
W: Thank God. Well, you do have insurance, right?
女：幸好啊。嗯，你有保險(xiǎn)，對(duì)吧？
M: Yes. I am so thankful that I pay a little extra every month for full coverage.
男：是的。幸好我每個(gè)月都多花點(diǎn)錢(qián)買(mǎi)了全額保險(xiǎn)。
W: What is the difference between full coverage and liability only?
女：全額保險(xiǎn)和責(zé)任保險(xiǎn)有什么區(qū)別？
M: Full coverage costs more, but it will pay more to have your car fixed if you get into an accident. Liability would only take care of damages to someone else's car, but not mine.
男：全額保險(xiǎn)花費(fèi)更多，不過(guò)如果你的車出了意外，它會(huì)給你付更多修車費(fèi)。責(zé)任保險(xiǎn)只負(fù)責(zé)對(duì)別人的車所造成的損失，不包括自己的車。
W: So you won't have to pay for the damages to your car from the accident today.
女：所以今天的事故對(duì)你的車所造成的的損失你不用出錢(qián)。
M: I have to pay a small amount of deductible, but it is still a lot less than I would have to pay to fix the car myself.
男：我得出一小筆免賠金額，不過(guò)這比我自己花錢(qián)修車要便宜得多。
W: Does your insurance cover the damage to the other car too?
女：你的保險(xiǎn)包括對(duì)另一輛車造成的損失嗎？
M: Usually it would, but the other driver did not have any insurance.
男：一般情況下會(huì)包括，但是那個(gè)司機(jī)沒(méi)有保險(xiǎn)。
W: If a driver does not have insurance then you are not responsible for damages to their car?
女：如果司機(jī)沒(méi)有保險(xiǎn)，那么你就不需要對(duì)他們的車所造成的損失負(fù)責(zé)嗎？
M: Yes, because you are not supposed to drive at all unless you have insurance.
男：是的，因?yàn)槿绻銢](méi)有保險(xiǎn)，你就不應(yīng)該開(kāi)車。
W: Did you receive a ticket for the accident? What about the other driver?
女：你因?yàn)檫@個(gè)事故收到罰單了嗎？另一位司機(jī)呢？
M: The police officer gave me a small ticket because it was my fault. The other driver's ticket was higher because he did not have insurance while driving.
男：警察給了我一張小小的罰單，因?yàn)檫@是我的過(guò)錯(cuò)。另一位司機(jī)的罰單金額更多，因?yàn)樗麤](méi)有保險(xiǎn)就開(kāi)車。
