illustrate v.用圖畫表示；舉例說明；例證
[記]音似“一路死吹他”(i-llu-s-tra-te)。一個人一路上都在死命吹噓他，肯定舉了很多例子來例證他，拿出了手機里的圖片來表明自己偉大經歷。
[例]This example apparently illustrates that a brilliant teacher can better illuminate a theory by his vivid motions.這個例子明顯地說明，一個很棒的老師是可以通過自己生動的肢體語言來闡明一個道理的。
illustration n.說明；插圖
[記]illustrate的名詞。注意，其實前面不讀“一lu死”，而讀“一樂死”，這本書的插圖是不是樂死你了呢？
[注]寫作中的“如圖所示”以后就可以用這個詞了哦！比cartoon高檔非常多～
[例]The illustration subtly implies that the Internet is a double-bladed sword.這個圖畫微妙地暗示出互聯網其實是把雙刃劍。
