consist vi.由……組成；包含

[記]con-一起；sist坐；大家坐到一起來，組成（consist）了一個集體。

[搭]consist of 由……組成，就等于be made up of,但是要注意consist是一個不及物動詞，不能用被動語態。 consist in包含（把某物包在里面)

[變]consistent a.一致的；始終如一的（能坐在一起的人一般都有一致的目的、想法） consistency n.一致性

resist v.抵抗；抵擋；抗拒

[記]re-往回；sist坐。你坐在那里背單詞，看到我來了就想轉身離開，說明你抗拒我，想要抵抗、抵擋（resist）我。

[變]resistant a.反抗的；抗拒的（注意，是ant!!）resistance n.反抗，抵抗，抵抗力；電阻 heat-resistant a.抗熱的

[例]Strong body can assist in resisting the normal diseases.強健的身體可以幫助來抵抗普通的疾病。

transistor n.晶體管（收音機）

[記]tran-傳；sist-or坐著的人。坐在那兒的人能收到傳來的電波，是靠晶體管收音機(tran-sistor)。——當然，你不用理解什么叫做晶體管收音機，你就認為它是radio就好了。

transparent a.透明的；明顯的；容易被看穿

[記]trans-傳，轉；parent父母。你看到父母在那兒，不理他們就直接轉過去了，你當他們是透明的（trans-parent）。

[串]內心是透明的，做事就很明顯、很容易被看穿。

[例]You should resist their invitation of paly Mahjong with them-you are too transparent!你要拒絕他們打麻將的邀請——你太容易被看穿了！

radio n.收音機;廣播；無線電波 v．用無線電通訊

[記]radi-是“光波”的意思。還記得radius么？不記得“半徑”那就是個Diaos哦！一條“半徑”就是從中心發射出來的光線。o長得像一個環，一環環發射出去的光波，就是廣波和無線電波(radio)。

[例]The aviator radioed for help.飛行員用無線電進行求救。

radioactive a.有放射性的；放射性引起的

[記]radio-無線電；active活躍的；一個東西的電波很活躍，就是有放射性的（radioactive）。

[例]The marble surface of the cupboard is radioactive.櫥柜的大理石面板是有放射性的。

radiate v.輻射，放射；流露

[記]radi-光波，無線電；-ate動詞。放出光波就是輻射、放射；人的神情放出的光波，就是流露出來的某種情緒。

[例]The sun radiates rays and energy that are essential for the survival of the creatures on our planet.太陽放射出的光線和能量對于我們星球上生物的存活是非常必要的。He always radiates confidence and optimism that convey positive energy to us.他總是流露出自信和樂觀，這給我們帶來了很多正能量。
