2. apply
這里我們?cè)敿?xì)串聯(lián)一下在聽力考試中涉及到的與求職相關(guān)的短語(yǔ)。
apply for(申請(qǐng))，這是工作的第一步;既然要申請(qǐng)，必然需要遞交 letter of application (求職信)，只要你足夠 confident about yourself，就有可能獲得job interview (工作面試)的機(jī)會(huì)。是否能夠 give a good impression(留個(gè)好印象)給主管，那就得看你個(gè)人造化了。
有些工作崗位會(huì)require much traveling，(要求經(jīng)常出差)還有些工作，做不了多久就會(huì)希望find a way out(找到出路)。
正所謂城里城外，各有風(fēng)光。沒工作的人想工作，有工作的人又煩工作。
3.as well 也
If the weather is this hot tomorrow, we may as well give up the idea of playing tennis outside.
如果明天溫度還是這么高，我們也可能放棄到戶外進(jìn)行比賽的主意。
4.as soon as 一……就，盡快
I will do that for you as soon as I have fixed the machine.
