Apple has unveiled its new over-ear headphones dubbed AirPods Max, with a hefty price tag of ￡549, making them more expensive than both the new Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

The premium price tag has led many to question the value of the product.

The headphones are wireless and noise-cancelling. According to Apple, they combine acoustic design, H1 chips, and advanced software to deliver "the ultimate personal listening experience".
