One religion tells you to fast on Monday, another religion tells you to fast on Tuesday; one religion says go to the temple without shoes on, but another says wear shoes inside the church; one religion says eat after sunset, one says eat before sunset…it is very confusing.

AK: We respect all religions. All my Hindu friends have seen the film and they didn’t find anything hurtful in it. In fact, 99 percent of the crew was Hindu. I respect everyone’s viewpoints, their feelings and their opinions.

There are a lot of genuine spiritual gurus who will make you feel better. They inspire and enrich you with ideas and they are great spiritual leaders. This film does not target them. It is for those who are corrupt and are trying to take advantage of you to sell their products. To pray, talk or communicate with God and share my feelings or troubles, I don’t need a mediator. "There are two types of God. The first one created the Universe. He is loving, forgiving(寬容的), omniscient(無所不知的), protective and unprejudiced(無偏見的). There is another God whom People created. He is forgetful(健忘的), wrathful(憤怒的), prejudiced, and might punish you if you do not believe in Him. The first God encourages love, while the other God feeds on fear."

But actually there is no one "right" path. The path is always an individual journey. We shouldn’t follow people blindly. We can decide what is right and what is wrong.

So when we find something outlandish, we should raise our voice to reject it, no matter who is endorsing it.

"Never compromise with what you believe in and what makes you happy, it is too valuable. If you do not compromise during your worst times when you are up against the wall, you will never ever compromise with anything in life. Always stand for what you believe in. You might not always win but the respect you will have for yourself will be greater than any possible outcome."
