Many thought the tutu was a response to the ban of her catsuit.

The French Tennis Federation president said catsuits like the one Williams wore would no longer be allowed at the tournament.

Williams said she chose the catsuit to help promote circulation and prevent blood clots, and that the catsuit reminded her of "Black Panther" and made her feel like "a warrior princess."
