Rachel: Oops①, sorry. Listen, we-we have to have a party tonight! Actually, we have to have one in five minutes, so everybody cancel your plans.1
瑞秋：（拎著大包小包從外面回來）哦，不好意思，大家聽著, 我們今晚得搞個派對! 實際上，我們得在5分鐘后開始，所以大家都要取消別的計劃。
Chandler: What are you talking about?
錢德勒：你在說什么啊？
Joey: Yeah, what’s going on?
喬伊：是呀，怎么了？
Rachel: We have to have a surprise Bon Voyage,③ party for Emily. But it’s actually for Joshua. Look, he said he’s not ready to date, so I had to invite him to a party if I wanted to see him outside of work, and now I have the perfect opportunity④ to seduce him!2
瑞秋：我們得給艾米麗搞個驚喜送行派對，但實際上是為了喬舒亞。（開始為大家發(fā)派對帽子）他說他還沒準備好約會，所以如果我想在工作之余見他的話，我就得請他參加個派對，而現在我創(chuàng)造了個絕好的機會來勾引他！（遞給羅斯一個派對帽子）
Ross: Well, as much as I’d like to meet Josh and warn him, Emily and I aren’t going to be here. All right? I mean, she’s going to come by first to say good-bye, and then I’ve got a whole special evening planned. So I’m sorry, no party.3
羅斯：同樣也有機會讓我見到喬舒亞，然后警告他，艾米麗和我不能待在這兒，好嗎？我的意思是，她會先來這兒說再見, 然后我們今晚還有個完整的計劃。所以對不起，沒有晚會。
Emily: Hello?
艾米麗：（從門外進來）嘿！
Rachel: Surprise!⑤
瑞秋：（瑞秋立馬舉起手中寫著“一路平安”的彩紙）驚喜！（錢德勒和喬伊也跟著喊，驚喜！）
Emily: No one’s ever thrown me a surprise party before!
艾米麗：以前從沒有人給我辦驚喜派對！
Rachel: Well, it was all Ross’s idea.
瑞秋：這都是羅斯的主意。
Emily: You’re so sweet⑥! And I’m so surprised!
艾米麗：你真好！我真的很驚喜！
Ross: You really didn’t know?4
羅斯：你真的不知道嗎？（艾米麗和羅斯擁抱）
