2.關于戀愛
Western parents: "Oh, you think you're in love? Honey, I'm so happy for you. What's she like? Is she cute?"
西方父母，哦你戀愛了嗎？親愛的，我真為你開心。她是個什么樣的人呢？可愛嗎？
Asian parents: "You think you're in love? You are too young to understand what love is. All you need to do now is to stay in school, study hard, get a good job, and then marry someone."
亞洲父母，你戀愛了？你這么年輕懂什么愛不愛的！你現(xiàn)在要做的就是好好上學，努力學習，找個好工作，嫁個人家！

3.關于親情
Western parents: "Your father and I just wanted you to know that we love you so much. No reason. We just wanted to let you know."
西方父母，我和你爸就是想讓你知道，我們很愛你。沒什么，就是想要你知道。
Asian parents: "I'm doing this for your own good."
亞洲父母，我這么做還不都是為了你好！

4.關心
Call me when you get there, just so I know you're okay.
到了打電話，讓我知道你沒事兒。
Take care of yourself when you're not at home.
在外面好好照顧自己。
It's not about good or bad. It's just differences. And we know that all parents are trying hard to provide anything we really want and really take care of us.
兩種教育方式無關好壞，只是不同而已。我們知道所有的父母都會傾其所有給我們我們想要的東西，并且無微不至地關心我們。
