Linda: I doubt that. You write good reports. When did you give it to her?

Alex: I gave it to her at noon, just before lunch.

Linda: Don't be worried, Alex. I think she will talk to you soon.

Alex: I hope so. I can't stand waiting much longer.

Linda: Alex! It's only 1:00 p.m.!
