Comic Legend Stan Lee Dies at 95
漫畫傳奇斯坦·李于95歲逝世
Stan Lee, the writer and co-creator of Marvel Comics and its legendary superhero characters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the X-Men, died on November 12 at the age of 95. In the early ’60s, inspired by the civil rights movement, Lee’s job was to create humanized superheroes that could compete against the Justice League of DC Comics (e.g., Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman). When Marvel began making blockbuster films, Stan Lee became a household name. In recent years, fans have enjoyed looking for Lee in his numerous cameo roles in Marvel films and TV series. Lee’s wife of 69 years, who did voice-over work in some of Marvel’s animated films, died last year at the age of 95.
