Wildfires Tear Through Greece
野火橫掃希臘
At least 80 people are confirmed dead and dozens more are injured or missing after wildfires tore through seaside towns in Greece this week. In the resort village of Mati, many people abandoned their homes and cars and ran into the sea to escape the smoke and flames. Investigators are looking into the cause of the fires. While some suspect it was arson others are blaming the high temperatures. The death toll remains unknown; however, officials are calling this the second worst fire in Greece this century.
