North and South Korea Meet in DMZ
朝韓在非武裝地帶會談
North and South Korea held a face-to-face meeting in a border town in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) this week. The presidents of North and South Korea listened in during the meeting. The sides agreed to hold military talks to reduce tension in the region. North Korea also agreed to send a group of representatives, athletes, and cheerleaders to the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang this February. These were the first peace talks between North and South Korea in over two years.
