Crabbe and Goyle chuckled trollishly.

'I heard your father finally got his hands on some gold this summer, Weasley,' said Malfoy. 'Did your mother die of shock?'

Ron stood up so quickly he knocked Crookshanks's basket to the floor.

Professor Lupin gave a snort.

'Who's that?' said Malfoy, taking an automatic step backwards as he spotted Lupin.
“那是誰？”馬爾福問道，他看見盧平以后不由自主地后退了一步。
'New teacher,' said Harry, who had got to his feet, too, in case he needed to hold Ron back.
“新來的教師。”哈利說道，他也站起來了，以便在需要時把羅恩拉回來。
'What were you saying, Malfoy?'
“你剛剛在說什么，馬爾福？”
Malfoy's pale eyes narrowed; he wasn't fool enough to pick a fight right under a teacher's nose.
馬爾福淡色的小眼睛瞇起來了，他還沒有笨到在一位教師面前挑釁的地步。
