'Wonder what he teaches?' said Ron, frowning at Professor Lupin's pallid profile.
“不知道他教什么？”羅恩說，對盧平教授了無生氣的側(cè)影皺著眉頭。
'That's obvious,' whispered Hermione. 'There's only one vacancy, isn't there? Defence Against the Dark Arts.'
“顯然，”赫敏悄聲說，“只有一個空位子，對不對？黑魔法防御術(shù)。”
Harry, Ron and Hermione had already had two Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers, both of whom had only lasted one year.
哈利、羅恩和赫敏已經(jīng)有過兩位教這門課程的老師了，兩人都只教了一年。
There were rumours that the job was jinxed.
有謠言說，這份工作是注定要失敗的。
'Well, I hope he's up to it,' said Ron doubtfully.
“唔，我希望他能勝任。”羅恩狐疑地說，
'He looks like one good hex would finish him off, doesn't he?
“像是施展一下魔法就會結(jié)果了他似的，他看起來是不是這樣？
Anyway...' he turned to Harry, 'what were you going to tell us?'

Harry explained all about Mr and Mrs Weasley's argument and the warning Mr Weasley had just given him.
哈利把書斯萊夫婦的爭論、韋斯萊先生方才給他的警告等等都告訴了他們。
When he'd finished, Ron looked thunderstruck, and Hermione had her hands over her mouth.
他說完以后，羅恩好像遭到了雷擊一樣，赫敏則用雙手掩住了嘴。
She finally lowered them to say, 'Sirius Black escaped to come after you?
最后她放下手來說：“小天狼星布萊克逃出來是為了要追你？
Oh, Harry... you'll have to be really, really careful. Don't go looking for trouble, Harry...'
哦，哈利……你一定要多加小心啊，要非常小心啊。不要自找麻煩，哈利……”
'I don't go looking for trouble,' said Harry, nettled. 'Trouble usually finds me.'
“我沒有自找麻煩啊，”哈利惱怒地說，“通常總是麻煩找上我的。”
'How thick would Harry have to be, to go looking for a nutter who wants to kill him?' said Ron shakily.
“哈利會笨到什么地步，才會去找一個想殺他的瘋子？”羅恩顫抖著說。
They were taking the news worse than Harry had expected.
他們對這條新聞的看法要比啥利預料的嚴重得多。
Both Ron and Hermione seemed to be much more frightened of Black than he was.
羅恩和赫敏似乎都比他害怕布萊克。
'No one knows how he got out of Azkaban,' said Ron uncomfortably. 'No one's ever done it before.

And he was a top-security prisoner, too.'
而且他還是個頭等要犯呢。”
