The Apple iPhone is 10 years old today. When Steve Jobs launched the first iPhone, he promoted it as the combination of three products in one: a mobile phone, an iPod with touch controls, and a "breakthrough internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, searching and maps."

In a statement from Apple CEO Tim Cook, he wrote, "iPhone set the standard for mobile computing in its first decade and we are just getting started. The best is yet to come."
