A real friend is someone that’s gonna be there for you when times are hard.
真正的朋友在你身處艱難時會出現的在你身邊

It means you can have the biggest jerk living next to you but then when you lose your apartment and he takes you in, you find out he’s the only true friend you had.
比如，最開始你認為你的鄰居是一個混蛋，但是當你無家可歸的時候，他收留你，你才發現他是你一個真正的朋友。

In China, we have a figure of speech : “ The friend-ship, wrecks easily.” （友誼的小船，說翻就翻）We think of a friendshipas a real ship and sometimes, it’s easily wrecked by some ridiculous reason.
在中國，我們有一個比喻: " 友誼的小船，說翻就翻 "。我們覺得，友誼有時候真的是一艘船。它很容易因為一些可笑的理由破裂。

If there’s one thing that’ll mess up a friendship, it’s a love interest. If that’s the case, there isn’t much to be done. Really, you just have to hope your friend has enough forgiveness in them. Otherwise, there isn’t really much one person can do.
如果說有一件事會搞砸友誼，就是感情。在這種情況下，不能做什么。真的，除了朋友之間有足夠的寬恕。但沒有很多人能做到。

Forgiveness doesn’t come from an outward source. Forgiveness comes from within. If you’ve done something to hurt a friend, you can’t do anything to fix it.
寬恕不是來自外在因素。寬恕是發自內心的。如果你做了些什么傷害了朋友，你不能做任何事情來彌補它。

I like a friend that can take a joke!!! If I call my friend an asshole, they can’t get all upset about it. I like to insult my friends and i like being insulted back.
我喜歡可以開玩笑的朋友！如果我叫我朋友混蛋，他們不能因為這個感到沮喪。我喜歡罵罵我的朋友，我也喜歡他們罵罵我。

One day, you’re friend is gonna be on hard times and so will you. You’re gonna have 2 dollars in your pocket. If you give up one of those dollars, if you give up half of what you have, you’ll know what being a friend is all about.
如果一天，你的朋友在困難的時候你也會出現在他身邊。如果你的口袋里有 2 美元，你給一美元給你朋友。如果你愿意放棄你所擁有的一半，你就會知道什么是朋友了。
