A Mouse Trap
鼠夾
A Mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife opening a package. "What food might this contain?" He was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.
一只老鼠透過墻上的裂縫看到農(nóng)夫和他的妻子正在打開一個包裹。“里面可能裝的是什么吃的呢？”它想?？墒钱斔吹嚼锩媸且粋€捕鼠器的時候，它嚇壞了。
Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning. "There is a mousetrap in the house, there is a mousetrap in the house!"
逃回牧場，老鼠鄭重地發(fā)出警告：“屋子里有個捕鼠器，屋子里有個捕鼠器！”
The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said "Mr. Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."
小雞抓著地，抬起頭，咯咯咯地說：“老鼠先生，我看得出這對你來說是個非常嚴重的顧慮，但是對我卻什么后果也不會有。我不想被這種事打攪。”
The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mousetrap in the house!"
老鼠轉(zhuǎn)身告訴豬說：“屋子里有個捕鼠器！”
"I am so very sorry Mr. Mouse, "I am so very sorry Mr. Mouse, sympathized the pig, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured that you are in my prayers."
豬很同情地說：“老鼠先生，我很難過，但是除了祈禱我無能為力。不過請相信我會為你祈禱的。”
The mouse turned to the cow who replied,like "Wow, Mr. Mouse.A mousetrap.Am I in great danger?.
老鼠隨轉(zhuǎn)向奶牛，奶牛說：“喔，老鼠先生，老鼠夾？那我是不是很危險？
So the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone. That very night a sound was heard throughout the house like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.
于是，老鼠回到屋子里，垂頭喪氣地，獨自面對農(nóng)民的捕鼠器。那天晚上，屋子傳來了一個聲音，聽起來是捕鼠器抓到什么了。
The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness the wife did not see that it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife.
農(nóng)民的妻子奔去看抓到了什么。在黑暗中，農(nóng)民的妻子沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)是一條毒蛇的尾巴被捕鼠器夾住了。蛇咬了農(nóng)民的妻子。
The farmer rushed her to the hospital and she returned home with a fever. Now everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.
農(nóng)民趕忙帶她去了醫(yī)院，她回來時還發(fā)著高燒。人們都知道要醫(yī)治高燒，得用新鮮的雞湯，于是農(nóng)民拿著短斧，到牧場上去取雞湯的主要原料。
But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
但是他妻子的還是沒好，所以不斷地有朋友和鄰居來陪她。為了給他們弄吃的，農(nóng)夫把豬給殺了。
The farmer's wife did not get well. In fact, she died; And so many people came for her funeral the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide meat for all of them to eat.

So next time you hear that someone is facing a problem and think that it doesn't concern you, remember that when the least one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.
所以，下次你再聽到某人說遇到問題，而你認為與你無關(guān)時，記住一點：只要我們中間任何一個人遇到威脅，所有的人都會有危險。
And traps are usually well disguised.
