Russia Accused of State-Supported Doping Program
俄羅斯陷興奮劑丑聞
A 10-month investigation by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has uncovered “disturbing” evidence of widespread doping in Russian sport, according to a report released this week. Bribery, cover-ups, and the destruction of athlete samples are examples of corruption outlined in the report. The report implicates Russian athletes, doctors, laboratory workers, anti-doping agencies, law enforcement and the federal government. Authors of the report recommend the suspension of the Russian federation from the 2016 Olympic Games until Russia can prove its compliance with anti-doping rules.
